The Co-ownership Solutions story is a simple one. We passionately believe that employee ownership and worker co-operative models provide a better and fairer way of doing business. We want to help form more of them and help develop existing co-owned businesses.

Meet the team
Andrew has been involved in the employee ownership and worker co-operative sector for over 15 years. Andrew worked at the eaga Partnership for 8 years where his roles included Chair of eaga’s Staff Council and employee elected Trustee.
For the past 7 years Andrew has worked with over 30 companies, varying in size from 5 to 500 employees and across different sectors, providing expert advice and project managing their move to employee ownership. Andrew is independent Chair of Trustees for a number of successful employee owned businesses and supports the sector through his role as a Trustee Director of Co-operative and Community Finance.

Norman has helped over 60 companies transition to either an employee owned or worker co-operative structure. Norman’sexpertise is in identifying innovative buyout solutions and raising finance from employees and external providers. Norman is well known for his work with the Wales Co-operative Centre, Baxi Partnership and for managing the high profile employee buyout of Tower Colliery where he raised £2m of investment from the employees.

David is a Solicitor with extensive experience of employee buyout transactions and employee share ownership. This includes dealing with employee trusts, share schemes and all kinds of related advice relating to the constitution of the company, employment and taxation issues. He has a wealth of experience of the contracting out of services from public bodies having worked on the privatisation of coal mines, transport companies, government computer contractors and local authority ancillary services as well as numerous private company buyouts.
David is a full time Partner with Blake Morgan LLP (corporate member of Co-ownership Solutions LLP) in their corporate group based in London.

Chris works with employee owned and worker co-operative organisations to help them identify and understand how they can build a culture of ownership, create effective governance structures and develop employee engagement. Chris also specialises in helping companies to recruit talent and has advised employee owned businesses on remuneration policies and practices. Having held anumber of senior positions in public and private sector organisations Chris has developed a reputation for being able to communicate his ideas and solutions to employees across all levels of organisations.
